Oxford Products has proudly taken title sponsorship of the factory-backed TAG Triumph race team for 2010. Running no fewer than 6 bikes in Oxford’s iconic industry colours, the team will help to promote the company’s wide range of products plus an exciting new range of HJC helmets, which include the high spec, race-ready R-PHA 10 model being worn by the riders.
OXFORD TAG Triumph announces plans for 2010 racing season… After establishing themselves as a professional and competitive team in the British Supersport Paddock in 2009, OXFORD TAG Triumph are pleased to be entering their second year of competition with full Factory Support from Triumph motorcycles. This partnership enables the team to compete in both the British Supersport and Junior Superstock Championship in 2010.
Spearheading the 2010 British Supersport campaign for OXFORD TAG Triumph will be the team’s new signing, former Australian Supersport Champion and Superbike runner up Jason O’Halloran. He will be partnering Triumph factory test rider and experienced Triumph Daytona 675 campaigner Paul Young. In addition to this top flight Supersport line-up, the team will continue to show a commitment to fostering new young talent in the form of the OXFORD TAG Triumph junior team. This comprises Shaun Winfield contesting the Supersport Cup, Ross Ashman the Superstock Championship and two bikes and riders in the GP125 class.

With an ever strengthening presence in the UK, Alpinestarshas appointed leading distributor, Oxford Products, to boost the supply of its key products throughout the UK.
Working alongside an already well established and highly successful direct dealer network in the UK, Oxford Products will become a subsidiary distributor, offering selected products products from Alpinestars technical motorcycle collection to their own wide network of accounts.
Alpinestars’ own primary dealer network will continue to be supported and serviced by Alpinestars Dealer Development staff based in the UK with access to the complete range of products from Alpinestars technical apparel, footwear and accessory categories.
Based in Witney, Oxford Products have over 35 years experience in distribution and have built a reputation as a highly respected supplier of motorcycle security, touring, accessory products and are the leading distributor of helmets throughout the UK. Their logistical experience and commitment to rapid and efficient service will open many new opportunities for customers around the UK and will contribute to the further development of Alpinestars as a leading brand for dealers looking to strengthen their retail offer.
This agreement is a significant step in building even greater availability of Alpinestars products in the UK. Oxford Products will carry significant stock levels focusingon the development of key Alpinestars road riding products, with a commitment to providing immediate service and support. For Alpinestars, the partnership represents an important strategic move; with a technical collection covering every aspect of motorcycle apparel and footwear for touring, commuting and racing, the offer will bring real benefits to dealers that are new to Alpinestars.
It is important to note that Oxford Products will handle order fulfillment and product support for their dealer network. Dealers already working with Alpinestars directly will be unaffected by this agreement and will continue to be supported by Alpinestars Sales Support as established.
The Alpinestars / Oxford Products distribution partnership commences from the beginning of July 2010 with deliveries starting immediately.
