What exactly does Lifetime Luggage mean?
Any of our luggage that carries the Lifetime logo is guaranteed against manufacturing faults or flaws for LIFE! This guarantee covers everything except ancillary parts such as zip tags (not the zips themselves), buckles and raincovers which all carry our standard 12-month warranty. Please note that while this is a genuine lifetime guarantee it is non-transferable, therefore if the luggage were sold on, the guarantee would not carry over to the secondary party. Therefore if a customer ever needed to make a warranty claim a proof of purchase would be required. The bag would then be replaced free of charge with the latest equivalent product.
Our liability extends to material, labour and return delivery to the customer. NOT covered are: damages due to misuse, abuse, or obvious neglect, failure to perform normal maintenance, transportation of the product to our service department and any other expenses, consequential damages, incidental damages, or damage to persons or property. There are no other warranties expressed or implied. The guarantee is offered as an extra benefit and is additional to your statutory rights.

I’ve damaged my luggage through misuse; does Oxford offer a repair service for a fee?
Sadly no. We do not have the facilities available to offer a repair service for any of our products (under warranty they would be completely replaced free of charge) therefore we can offer the following advice if a repair is required. Local saddlers or shoe repair shops tend to have access to industrial sewing machines or similar which will be able to penetrate the material of the bags. A fabric boat or tent repair kit from your local outdoor equipment shop may have a patch and/or fixings that would solve your problem.
Please note that the glue used in these kits tends to be flammable, therefore if it were to be used on panniers it would have to be in an area well and truly clear of the exhaust system.

Can I buy replacement Raincovers for my Oxford Luggage?
Yes! Replacement raincovers can be ordered through/purchased from any Oxford stockist. There is a range of covers to suit different bags, part numbers listed below, but they all have a RRP of £5.00 each.

What other spare parts are available for my luggage?
Other than raincovers we endeavour to hold a selection of buckles, straps and various other components in our spares department. If you require a specific spare please use the CONTACT US section of our website to send us a description ideally with a picture of the component that you require so that we can check our spares department on your behalf.

What luggage will fit my bike?
Sadly we are unable to offer model specific fitting recommendations for any of our universal products, therefore our recommendation would be for you to visit your local Oxford stockist and try any luggage onto your vehicle prior to purchase to test for fit/suitability etc. yourself.

How do I fit Panniers AND a Tailpack to my bike at the same time?
A very basic breakdown of the procedure is for all 3 of the central pannier Velcro straps to be secured UNDER the pillion seat and for the seat complete with tailpack to be secured over the top. This procedure may need to be altered slightly on different models of bikes and our recommendation would therefore be for a customer to contact their local Oxford stockist or our Customer Services team for further advice.
